Galleries
Give a related image set its own browsable collection, metadata, and place in the library.
Give an image set a collection identity
A gallery presents related images as one browsable library item. It owns its title and shared metadata; it is not merely the directory that contains image files. The images remain their own records inside that collection.

Browse the set without losing context
Open a gallery's Images tab to see the complete set as a grid. Open any image in the viewer and continue through the gallery from there. Use gallery metadata for facts about the set and image metadata for facts about one still.
